I think all of us know people that are sort of the “last minute type.â€Â Now, I’ll admit that I tend to procrastinate…a lot. But we’re not talking about me. So get off my back!! What I’m talking about are people that will sort of spring laborious and/or inconvenient requests on you. “Can you help me move tomorrow, Tuesday, at noon?â€Â That would have been fantastic to know LAST week when I could have made plans to take the day-off. Sometimes there are extenuating circumstances that give rise to such last minute notices. Aside from those reasons, I guess you can give them a response equally as delinquent. “Let me check my calendar and get back to you next month!â€

This week’s issue continues from the last two stories. Riley’s friend, Bill, set up a date with somebody from work. Besides the fact that they work together, there are additional…uh…complications. Leave it to Bill to make it difficult.Â
This week I tried to put the characters in a more dynamic setting. I’ve been inspired by my bud Johnny at finncomics.com. I think it turned out pretty good overall. I think the lettering got a wee bit squished as I tried to fit it around the characters though. It was definitely fun drawing the characters. Look for more to come!

In last week’s episode, our new friend Bill has decided to go on a date with someone from work. Dating someone from work can be tricky as it is. Apparently that’s too simple for Bill. He decides to make it just a little more complicated. Ah, the life of player. haha.

I think we all know that friend who’s kind of ladies man. Settling down seems to be furthest thing from his mind. So, he’s not exactly looking for the “one.â€Â It’s more like the “one time.â€Â Naturally, he’ll come to you and tell you about the person(s) he’s seeing. You may envy him in some regard. He’s getting dates left and right after all!! But at the same time, the choices he’s making may not seem like the wisest ones. Sometimes, all you can do is shake your head.
