Now that you’ve completed setting up your online dating profile, all you have to do is sit back and let the matches roll in, right? Well…it may not be that simple. Sure it’s easier in the sense that you don’t have to get dressed up and try to meet people at a bar only to come home empty handed. But it can be just as discouraging if, after you’ve put in the time to create a top notch, things don’t work out quite the way or at the pace you had hope. If you’re willing to stick it out and be patient, though, you may still get what you’re looking for.
I think I got a little bit lazy on the art work this week. After I went back and looked at it, I thought that I could have done a way better job. I think the expressiveness in the first panel could have been played up so much more. Oh well, I’ll have to just remember to keep challenging myself.

You’ve finally taken the plunge headlong into online dating. First thing’s first: enter information about yourself. What kind of work do you do? What are your hobbies? What are your likes and dislikes? Now for the more interesting stuff: enter information about your potential mate. What traits do you want? What traits do you avoid like the plague? What do look for physically? What do you look for personality-wise? Whew, that was tough! You’re almost done. Just one more question. Visa or Mastercard? Hey, nobody ever said, romance was cheap!
Little by little, I’m to trying drawing the characters from different angles. Certain angles can be more conducive to evoking certain emotions. Ehh…I’m still trying to get a feel for it. It’s fun trying to experiment with it though!

So, you’ve decided to take the plunge and sign up with an online dating website. No worries. All you have to do is setup your profile. Set it up and they will come. haha. If only it were that easy. You may have to be little  patient…
It used to be that those who dated online were people who were sort of on the fringes of society. Nowadays, it’s much more mainstream. It’s common to find your everyday person with a profile on one of more dating websites. It’s no longer the case that you expect to run into weirdoes online (though they are still out there!), but you’ll find regular people there too. The way I see it, it’s hard enough meeting somebody these days. Online dating is just another tool to help increase your chances of meeting that special someone. But, just like conventional dating methods, quality can vary!
I tried something different with the third panel, where Tim’s had extends beyond the border. I wanted to do away with the third border all together. But then I wasn’t sure what do with the bottom since you only see Riley and Tim from the waist up. I figured I would still need some sort of line to delineate the bottom of art. So…I kept the border and extended Tim’s hand over it. I’m not sure if it completely works. Hmmm…what do you think?
